Peter Zwanepoel takes on the Peak District Mountain Bike Challenge

Peter Zwanepoel, of Wentworth House Rail Systems took part in the Peak District Mountain Bike Challenge on Saturday 6th April in aid of The British Heart Foundation.

Peter put his mountain bike skills to the test and took on the tough climbs, mud and rocky terrain against a backdrop of panoramic views across the beautiful Peak District countryside.

Peter completed the 69km course in 7 hours and 40 minutes, with approximately 1 hour 30 minutes of “unscheduled” stoppages.  For his endeavours, Peter raised £240 for the worthy charity.

“It was a great day and I’ll definitely do it again! The weather was on our side, gorgeous views and terrain and the crowd that entered were brilliant, such a friendly bunch. Thanks for all that helped me reach and smash my fundraising target!”.
